We're artisans, designers, and educators who find inspiration in the outdoors — in natural materials, wild textures, and the quiet beauty that shifts with every season. We believe flowers aren't just decoration. They're feeling. They're memory. They're joy made visible.

And we think that joy belongs in every home.

It started with a five-year-old and a pair of scissors.

At age five, Darlene Rupke walked into her mother's garden and cut every single tulip she could find. She presented them proudly in a bouquet. The garden was gone. But something else had begun.

That same instinct — to gather, to create, to share — has driven Darlene for over 25 years. She went on to graduate from Humber Floral Design, then trained alongside some of the world's most renowned designers in the Netherlands, New York City, and California. She has competed nationally, been featured in industry publications, and created designs that have found their way into the hands of celebrities and prominent political figures across Canada.

She didn't just learn from the best. She became one of them.

Then she decided to share it all.

Over 15,000 students taught. More than 6,000 virtual floral designs created. Award-winning education built from the ground up — and delivered straight to your home, wherever you are in Canada.

Petal Academy was born from Darlene's deep belief that world-class floral design shouldn't live behind the doors of expensive ateliers or big city studios. It should be accessible. It should be joyful. It should be yours.

So she opened the door — and built an academy so anyone who wanted to walk through it, could.
